What you will do

• Bridge the gap between art and programming by optimizing game assets and workflows.
• Create shaders and optimize materials for real-time rendering.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Python, MEL, or C#.
• Perform performance profiling and asset optimization for PC, console, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with artists and engineers to solve complex visual and technical challenges.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine with experience in asset optimization.
• Solid understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, and rigging pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, MEL, or C#) for tool development.
• Knowledge of shader creation and real-time rendering.
• Ability to work in both Spanish and English-speaking environments.
• Must be based in Valencia, Spain for in-house team collaboration.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry.
• Experience with procedural content generation using Houdini.
• Knowledge of VFX, particle systems, and lighting in game engines.
• Proficiency in developing custom tools within Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Strong shader programming skills using HLSL or GLSL.
