What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of animators, providing regular feedback and coaching.
• Act as the primary contact between production and animation supervisors.
• Manage team assignments and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure tools and workflows are properly set up.
• Solve creative and technical challenges related to animation tasks and pipelines.
• Deputize for the animation supervisor when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience mentoring or leading an animation team.
• Thorough knowledge of Maya.
• Strong understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, and anatomy.
• Working knowledge of modeling, rigging, and Mel/Python scripting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing production needs.
