What you will do

• Prototype and implement gameplay scenarios, narrative sequences, interactive objects, and AI behaviors.
• Own specific mechanics and systems throughout the development cycle.
• Collaborate with animation, programming, and art departments to produce necessary assets and code support.
• Iterate quickly on designs based on feedback from lead designers and directors.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience in Technical Design for games.
• Strong programming ability (Computer Science degree preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D math and fluency in C++, C#, or Lua.
• Understanding of narrative principles and the ability to convey emotion through gameplay.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience developing third-person action games.
• Knowledge of Behavior Trees, Melee, and Combat Systems.
• Experience with enemy and boss design.
• Ability to improve tools and workflows.
