Salary: $56.70 - $65 per hour

What you will do

• Prototype, implement, and own gameplay scenarios, narrative sequences, and AI behaviors.
• Design and manage interactive objects, mechanics, and complex systems.
• Collaborate with animation, programming, and art departments to produce necessary assets and code.
• Iterate quickly on designs based on feedback from lead designers and directors.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience in Technical Design for games.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong programming ability (Computer Science undergraduate degree preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D math and understanding of narrative principles.
• Fluency in C++, C#, Lua, or other text-based scripting languages.

Nice to have

• Experience developing third-person action games.
• Knowledge of Behavior Trees, Melee, and Combat Systems.
• Experience with enemy and boss design.
• Experience making improvements to tools and workflows.
