What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement generative AI services and applications utilizing LLMs and agentic AI capabilities.
• Build stateful AI solutions grounded in enterprise data using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Drive AI innovation by accelerating business use cases using frameworks such as ADK and LangChain.
• Lead technical initiatives, resolve engineering roadblocks, and conduct peer reviews to ensure engineering excellence.
• Ensure quality, security, and compliance for supported AI systems and applications in an enterprise environment.
• Collaborate across teams to align with technical strategies and support application migrations and modernization efforts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of specialty software engineering experience.
• 1+ years of experience with cloud environments (Azure, GCP, OpenShift) and cloud-native development.
• 6+ months of experience with RAG and/or agentic workflows in generative AI applications.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Generative AI models and LLMs.
• Location: Must be based in Charlotte, NC
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• PhD in computer science or a related field.
• Experience in the financial industry or familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Expertise in test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
