What you will do

• Create and maintain scalable solutions using KVM Linux, Kubernetes, and Public Cloud providers.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system performance and complex issues across operating systems and applications.
• Ensure platform security and observability using nftables and comprehensive monitoring.
• Manage and deploy systems in diverse environments, including Kubernetes and Openstack.
• Develop custom automation tools using Python, Golang, and BASH.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the San Jose, CA HQ Office (Hybrid).
• 5+ years of experience in a Linux/UNIX System Administration or SysAdmin role.
• Mastery of network fundamentals including DHCP, ARP, subnetting, routing, NAT, firewalls, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation tools like Ansible.
• Strong understanding of web security, protocols, SSH, PGP, PKI, and Multi-factor authentication.

Nice to have

• Strong Openstack and CEPH experience paired with advanced Kubernetes expertise.
• Extensive professional history in dedicated Linux System Administration roles.
• Direct experience with Secrets Management Systems such as Hashicorp Vault.
