What you will do

• Design and create content and layouts for medical device documentation and labeling.
• Develop custom VBScript solutions within BarTender software to enhance label functionality and printing efficiency.
• Ensure all label content and new entries comply with strict regulatory requirements.
• Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM), packaging drawings, and a comprehensive Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) database.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot barcode scanner and printer issues to maintain operational efficiency on the production line.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience overseeing packaging and labeling projects from design to production.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Solidworks and Adobe Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of barcode/label creation software such as BarTender.
• Experience in packaging for instruments, electronics, or medical products (or other regulated industries).
• B.S. Degree in packaging/labeling design or a related field.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license for local travel.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of specific experience managing label documentation for a medical company.
• Expertise in Photoshop.
• Experience managing custom label development with outside vendors.
• Experience with both PC and Apple/Mac environments.
