What you will do

• Manage injection mold tool build programs from concept through to production, overseeing the entire project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and optimize mold designs to ensure cost-effectiveness, durability, and adherence to production goals.
• Lead all tooling transfers and new tool builds/validations while maintaining the tooling database.
• Provide technical and project leadership for complex mold design and develop detailed project plans and timetables.
• Troubleshoot molding and tooling issues with suppliers to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring supplier developments and technological changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of ten years direct experience in the field of tooling and injection molding.
• Practical knowledge of mold making, scientific injection molding concepts, and machining tolerances.
• General knowledge of applicable FDA and ISO guidelines.
• Strong project management skills, including proficiency with MS Project and MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software.
