What you will do

• Conduct in-depth analysis on credit card chargebacks to investigate criminal or buyer fraud.
• Process merchant reimbursement requests and make liability determinations to minimize losses.
• Identify friendly fraud and dispute cases to recover funds and prevent recurring bad behavior.
• Support new merchant onboarding by reviewing policies and configuring accounts.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Finance teams to optimize processes.
• Perform quality assurance and administrative tasks to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in chargeback analysis, fraud prevention, or payment operations.
• Experience with payment processors in North America, EMEA, or LatAm markets.
• Knowledge of card network regulations (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover).
• Proficiency in G-Suite and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience in customer service and merchant onboarding.
• Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, or Braintree.
• Expertise in Excel, SQL, and Looker.
• Fluency in Portuguese.
