• Create long-term technical vision for the organization and identify incremental delivery paths.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and performant services and systems.

• Collaborate with product, design, infrastructure, and operations stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach individual contributors and managers to develop the next generation of leaders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and evolving large-scale, high-performance APIs and services.
• Deep expertise in distributed computing systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on transparency.
• Ability to balance speed, complexity, and scope in service of user needs.
• Must be based in New York or South San Francisco HQ.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and building microservices architecture.
• Prior experience building services in Java, Ruby, or related languages.
