Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the London, Ontario area)

Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 CAD

What you will do

• Execute monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Own and maintain balance sheet reconciliations to ensure audit readiness and data integrity.
• Support year-end audit processes, documentation preparation, and coordination with auditors.
• Manage indirect tax compliance, specifically U.S. sales tax and Canadian HST/VAT.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Revenue & Billing teams to ensure accurate data flows.
• Act as a backup for North American payroll and drive process automation using AI.

Requirements

• CPA designation (completed or in progress).
• Professional experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and month-end close.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Must be located in or be able to work from the London, Ontario area.
• Clear communication skills and a mindset for continuous process optimization.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with payroll processing.
• Knowledge of indirect tax (sales tax, HST/VAT).
