What you will do
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed internet, video, and voice networks.
- Perform maintenance and repair on outside plant facilities, including digging and cable burial.
- Work in confined spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, and utility vaults.
- Climb poles and operate heavy equipment like extension ladders.
- Support sales and marketing activities through customer-facing interactions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve service issues efficiently.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 150 lbs and working in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office applications.
- Ability to distinguish colors on facilities.
Nice to have
- Prior experience as a customer-facing telecom operations technician.
- Basic electricity training or certification.
- ADSL installation and repair experience.
- A+ or Net+ certification.
