TL;DR
Software Developer Co-Op (Fullstack): Developing front-end web applications and back-end services for a public sector procurement and financial suite with an accent on API design and intelligent AI features. Location: Hybrid: 3 days/week in Oakville, ON office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Compensation: $22–$25/hr

What you will do
- Develop front-end web applications and back-end services based on detailed designs to create rich user experiences.
- Design and implement APIs and backend services.
- Create effective tests and metrics to ensure successful delivery and monitor real-time platform performance.
- Contribute to team success through thoughtful code reviews, thorough documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Integrate AI tools, frameworks, and LLMs to build intelligent features and enhance application functionality.
- Apply and support security best practices across the development stack.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, including logical thinking, problem solving, and debugging.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to listen to feedback and make adjustments.
- Customer-centric approach to prioritizing and solving issues.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Oakville, ON (3 days per week).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with React, Node.js, Python, AngularJS, MySQL, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with AWS cloud environments and SQL.
- Knowledge of JIRA, git, and development processes like Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience implementing AI/ML agentic solutions in business environments.
