What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end engineering function including development, QA, and DevOps.
• Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with product and business goals.
• Build and manage high-performing teams of managers, tech leads, and engineers.
• Oversee planning, estimation, release governance, and delivery bottlenecks.
• Drive architectural direction, cloud-native design, and engineering standards.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Product, Security, and Operations.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong product-oriented background.
• At least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams, including managers or multi-team structures.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable, and secure software products.
• Strong knowledge of modern software architecture, SDLC, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Must be based in Warsaw, Poland, with required on-site presence.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in high-volume transactional systems like fintech, gaming, or e-commerce.
