What you will do

• Deploy and manage resilient AWS infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery and enforce compliance.
• Manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes using Helm and ArgoCD.
• Own third-line technical escalations, diagnosing complex cross-layer issues.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs and resource usage.
• Ensure AWS environments adhere to strict security and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model (minimum 2 days/week in Sheffield or London).
• Proven expertise in Terraform for modular infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and GitOps delivery.
• Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Route53, VPC, Lambda, IAM).
• Proven ability to diagnose complex, cross-layer production issues.

Nice to have

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps, or SysOps).
• Experience working in fintech or other highly regulated environments.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation tasks.
