What you will do
- Act as the technical owner for complex DFR issues involving drones, docks, radar, and video streaming.
- Perform log-level investigations and technical analysis to identify patterns and root causes of failures.
- Drive engineering-ready escalations for platform or hardware defects and support crash post-mortems.
- Maintain troubleshooting documentation and knowledge base content for the DFR support organization.
- Collaborate with Aviation Engineering and Technical Account Managers to translate technical findings into resolution paths.
- Support DFR integration issues across systems such as FlockOS, CAD, VMS, and DAA.
Requirements
- 4+ years of advanced technical support or systems troubleshooting in complex hardware/software environments.
- Experience analyzing logs, interpreting failures, and writing high-quality defect reports for engineering.
- Familiarity with hardware and software used in DFR environments, including drones, docks, and streaming systems.
- Working knowledge of public safety IT systems, networking, and infrastructure concepts.
- FAA Part 107 certification required (or the ability to obtain it quickly).
- Availability for occasional, scheduled on-call support.
