What you will do

• Contribute to the design and development of the Metis scalable architecture.
• Manage operations for the Metis system, including participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Ensure the quality, soundness, and stability of distributed components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve high-impact issues.
• Share expertise on distributed systems to improve platform performance.

Requirements

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Proven track record of working with large datasets and high-traffic environments.
• Strict adherence to high code quality and automated testing best practices.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Experience working in high-growth environments ($50-200M ARR range).

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Sensitivity to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
