What you will do
- Develop and enforce end-to-end commercial credit policies, procedures, and risk thresholds.
- Evaluate and approve credit limits for new and existing customers using financial analysis and credit bureau data.
- Manage relationships with third-party collections agencies, establishing success criteria and monitoring performance.
- Coordinate legal escalations for delinquent accounts in partnership with internal and external counsel.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Success to balance risk management with revenue growth.
- Prepare and present credit risk metrics and bad debt analysis to Finance leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial credit evaluation and risk analysis in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party collections agencies and coordinating legal debt recovery.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and accounts receivable management platforms.
- Familiarity with credit evaluation tools such as Dun & Bradstreet or Equifax.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to navigate sensitive stakeholder communications.
Nice to have
- Certified Credit Executive (CCE) or Credit Business Associate (CBA) designation.
- Experience in a technology or SaaS business environment.
