Senior Manager, Commercial Compliance

What you will do

• Interpret and apply contractual commitments, charging mechanisms, client notifications, and declarations across commercial operations.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Legal, client leadership, affiliate entities, and UK, EMEA, and global teams to ensure commercial terms are correctly implemented.
• Support governance and compliance reviews for new commercial models and analyse transactional processes across all income types.
• Coordinate client compliance audits with third-party audit firms and ensure required information is delivered accurately and on time.
• Review and enhance control processes to reduce revenue-loss risk and capture all income opportunities.
• Provide commercial compliance training, policy updates, coaching, and mentorship to agency staff and junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant, auditor, or legally qualified professional.
• At least four years of commercial, compliance, or financial experience, including financial or audit best practice.
• Experience interpreting commercial contracts, managing client compliance audit negotiations, and assessing commercial controls.
• Knowledge of agency benefits, disclosed buying models, undisclosed inventory, vendor contracts, and remuneration models.
• Strong analytical, organisational, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and the ability to supervise, develop, and mentor a team while meeting tight deadlines.
