What you will do

• Design, maintain, and extend systems for running deep learning experiments using Python.
• Own the infrastructure, including databases, virtual machines, cloud compute resources, and scheduling systems.
• Develop tools for experiment control and visualization to provide better insights.
• Leverage CI/CD pipelines and automation to minimize repetitive tasks.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to make infrastructure more robust and efficient.
• Lead projects from initial design through to final implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python with clean, maintainable code.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of software design and architecture patterns for large codebases.
• Must be able to work on-site in Berlin at least 60% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and maintaining deep learning infrastructure.
• DevOps experience and familiarity with major cloud providers.
• Familiarity with scientific computing packages like NumPy, SciPy, or TensorFlow.
