Mainframe Application Analyst: Analyzing and maintaining complex mainframe applications for a leading financial group with an accent on requirements gathering, impact analysis, and production incident resolution. Focus on validating developer changes, coordinating deployment activities, and ensuring system stability within an international team.

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa (2-3 days per week in the office).

Salary: 500–800 PLN/day (B2B).

What you will do

• Gather and analyze business requirements for mainframe application updates.
• Perform impact analysis and document application changes and test results.
• Support Application Maintenance (AM) teams in resolving production incidents.
• Validate developer changes to ensure system integrity.
• Coordinate with Release Managers to facilitate smooth deployment activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test outcomes and system processes.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and IMS.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and application documentation.
• Strong analytical skills for validating technical changes.
• Experience supporting Application Maintenance teams.
• Ability to work in an international environment with daily English communication.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologies.
