What you will do

• Support the Information Security team in daily operational tasks and administrative activities.
• Assist with vulnerability management, security reviews, and subsequent follow-up activities.
• Maintain security documentation, inventories, and internal processes.
• Support security awareness and compliance-related initiatives.
• Conduct research on security topics and prepare findings for the team.
• Contribute to the automation and improvement of security-related workflows.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Information Security and a willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, or operating systems.
• Based in or able to work from Cologne, Germany.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Initial experience with programming or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash, or similar).
