What you will do
- Define the vision and roadmap for internal infrastructure, transitioning IT from a ticket-resolving function to an internal platform product.
- Lead and develop the IT team, including helpdesk and systems engineering, ensuring structured growth and high performance.
- Own core IT operations: MDM, identity and access management, SaaS tooling, and hardware provisioning.
- Set the security strategy and posture for systems and the agentic ecosystem, embedding security into platform infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the agentic framework team to build secure sandboxes, credential vaults, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage IT-specific risk, compliance controls, and audit readiness (GDPR/DSGVO, SOC 2) in partnership with Legal and Finance.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading an IT or infrastructure function at a scale-up or regulated tech company.
- Ability to implement a platform mindset within a team historically focused on support.
- Strong technical depth to effectively interrogate technical decisions and collaborate with engineers.
- Experience setting security strategies and navigating compliance/audit obligations in regulated environments.
- Experience with or genuine curiosity about agentic and AI infrastructure.
- Capability to manage vendors and lead build/buy/partner evaluations.
