What you will do

• Serve as the primary EMEA contact for security and compliance inquiries, participating in customer meetings and audits.
• Handle due diligence inquiries, security questionnaires, RFPs, and contract-related security reviews.
• Analyze European regulatory frameworks and align hirify.global’s controls and certifications with customer requirements.
• Evaluate the feasibility and business impact of customer-driven compliance requirements and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure accurate representation of customer commitments.
• Report on customer assurance trends and compliance risks to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in European software compliance, cloud security, or risk management.
• 3+ years of experience managing stakeholder relationships in complex organizations.
• Deep familiarity with frameworks: ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, DORA, TISAX, PCI-DSS 4.0, and national privacy laws.
• Experience working with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure) or security consulting firms.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex security topics to various audiences.
• Must be based in Germany

Nice to have

• Professional certifications: CISA, CISSP, or CCSP.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and project management tools (Excel, Smartsheet).
• Knowledge of SDLC and cloud technology principles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
