AWS Solutions Architect (EdTech)

What you will do

• Define cloud transformation goals and design scalable AWS architectures using ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Create target architectures and migration roadmaps for transitioning legacy monoliths to cloud-native or hybrid systems.
• Design and review application architectures, including microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
• Establish and improve logging, monitoring, and observability layers (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Collaborate with C-level executives to align cloud strategies with business needs.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Solid background in application development or architecture (PHP, Java, or similar).
• Proven experience with Docker, container orchestration (ECS/EKS), and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of logging and monitoring tools.
• English: Proficient level required.
• Location: Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry, X-Ray).
• Knowledge of performance optimization at both application and infrastructure levels.
• AWS or DevOps certifications (Security, SysOps, Networking).
• Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments.
