What you will do

• Execute and triage automated regression tests for various database engines using Python.
• Investigate NDB and DBServer logs to report product or automation bugs in JIRA.
• Maintain and stabilize existing regression suites in collaboration with component QA leads.
• Optimize test execution times and cluster resource utilization within CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce complex corner cases and validate bug fixes.
• Track automation quality indices and provide data-driven readiness updates for NDB releases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Software QA and Automation, preferably with database products, virtualization, or enterprise storage.
• Strong hands-on programming skills in Python and Bash scripting.
• Operational understanding of at least one major database engine (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with Jenkins, JIRA, and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
