What you will do

• Grow and manage the data science team, including hiring and setting technical guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring scientists in advanced modeling and neural networks.
• Work hands-on on data science tasks for at least 50% of your time.
• Own critical data science procedures, including experiments and implementation details.
• Align with product and infrastructure teams on priorities, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to strategic planning, long-term roadmaps, and quarterly OKRs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in data science.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead role with mentoring and career planning responsibilities.
• Proven track record of architecting and deploying machine learning solutions.
• Strong expertise in recommender systems and neural networks.
• Strong knowledge of Python for data science.
• Experience working with large datasets using tools like AWS Athena, Spark, Kafka, or Flink.

• Experience building an MLOps tech stack.
