What you will do

• Maintain and control laboratory environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and pressure.
• Coordinate maintenance activities for CMM, surface finish, CT/X-Ray, and optical metrology equipment.
• Act as the responsible person for Contract Job Registrations (CJR) and RAMS, coordinating external contractors.
• Ensure completion and upkeep of statutory safety assessments, including PUWER, LEV, EC-PL, COSHH, and HAVS.
• Manage purchase orders and invoices related to equipment maintenance and support.
• Collaborate with Metrology Engineers and facilities teams to ensure all technical requirements are met.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 4 or indentured apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering.
• Proven experience in facility fault finding and rectification.
• Knowledge of fluid and gas management equipment and control systems.
• Familiarity with scientific instruments such as CMM and CT/X-Ray equipment.
• Full UK driving licence (less than 6 penalty points, accident-free for 2 years).
• Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths, and Science.
