TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Improving and maintaining a portfolio of React-based applications with an accent on code security, quality, and refactoring AI-generated code. Focus on hardening prototypes into production-grade software, standardizing component architecture, and ensuring frontend security.

Location: Espoo, Finland (Hybrid: must be in the office at least 50% of the time)

What you will do

  • Maintain and improve a portfolio of React-based applications across the stack.
  • Review and harden AI-generated code before and after production deployment.
  • Identify and fix security, performance, and architectural vulnerabilities.
  • Refactor and standardize component structure and state management.
  • Collaborate on deployment and configuration improvements in containerized environments.
  • Help establish engineering standards for current and future projects.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, including modern patterns and hooks.
  • Solid understanding of frontend security (auth/authorization, CSRF, API boundaries).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and a working knowledge of relational data design.
  • Familiarity with TanStack Query and TanStack Router.
  • Basic comfort with Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Must be based in Espoo or able to work from the office at least 50% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Fastify or other Node.js-based backends.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Lovable, Claude Code).
  • Background in building or working with SaaS products.
