Security Engineer for T Cloud Public (m/f/d)

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: from €1,500 gross per month; final salary is negotiable and depends on seniority and previous experience, with variable compensation and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Perform preventive penetration tests for public cloud services and features.
• Respond to and actively combat cyberattacks, security breaches, and data breaches.
• Drive automation of security testing.
• Analyze and mitigate data and cybersecurity risks.
• Act as a trusted advisor on information and IT security.
• Collaborate with cloud security specialists in an agile, customer-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Technical, engineering, or scientific degree, or comparable professional training.
• 3–5 years of professional IT experience, ideally in cloud security or penetration testing.
• Experience with penetration testing, attack prevention, and security scanning, assessment, and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and network-related services, protocols, security, and equipment.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Ansible, and Bash.
• Fluent written and spoken English; work must be performed within the European Union to meet customer data security and privacy requirements.

Nice to have

• Relevant IT security certifications such as OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSP, or CISSP.
• Knowledge of agile development processes.
