What you will do

• Evaluate cutting-edge technologies, including transformer-based architectures and large foundational models.
• Develop scalable ML models for advanced ranking and recommendation systems using Collaborative Filtering and LTR techniques.
• Design reinforcement learning algorithms and multi-armed bandit strategies to optimize decision-making.
• Conduct A/B tests and analyze experimental data to extract actionable insights.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and marketing teams to integrate models into production.
• Build reusable ML libraries and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied ML experience productionizing models.
• 2+ years of focus on recommendations, ranking, or personalization projects.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, XGBoost, and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Strong background in ranking, recommendation systems, multi-objective optimization, and reinforcement learning.
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks for large-scale distributed ML applications.
• Must be based in Menlo Park, CA or Bellevue, WA

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in the Finance sector.
