What you will do
- Create high-quality, visually compelling 3D assets, including characters, environments, props, and materials.
- Develop polished models, textures, and shaders optimized for real-time game engines.
- Collaborate with concept artists, designers, and animators to translate concepts into final in-game assets.
- Ensure assets meet performance, memory, and platform-specific requirements across all gaming platforms.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to junior and mid-level artists.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a 3D Artist in the video game industry with a strong portfolio of real-time assets.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, and Substance Painter.
- Strong understanding of modeling, sculpting, UV mapping, PBR workflows, and material creation.
- Experience creating optimized assets for Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Must be based in Australia for hybrid work in Box Hill.
