hirify.global is a volunteer-based, global indie game development team creating an open-world RPG, "The Lays of Althas: Sundered Order", using Unreal Engine 5.

What you will do

• Create a variety of high-quality, textured 3D assets, focusing on hard-surface or sculpted models.
• Develop low-poly, game-ready assets optimized for an open-world environment.
• Execute full texturing workflows, including diffuse, normal, and displacement maps.
• Collaborate with the team via Slack and Trello to maintain an efficient production pipeline.
• Provide guidance and support to more junior team members.

Requirements

• Proficiency in high-quality 3D modeling for hard-surface or sculpted assets.
• Required PBR experience for game modeling and sculpting.
• Required previous experience working with low-poly/game-ready assets.
• Ability to perform full texturing (Diffuse, Normal, Displacement, etc.).
• English fluency is a must.
• Ability to work accurately based on pre-defined concept art and designs.

Nice to have

• Experience creating hair cards and alpha planes.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5).
• Proficiency in 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, ZBrush, or Mudbox.
• Experience with Photoshop or GIMP.
