What you will do

  • Design and execute risk-based audit procedures to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, and process reviews to evaluate internal control effectiveness.
  • Analyze data and perform assessments to support overall operational conclusions.
  • Collaborate with teams to define and implement impactful improvement actions based on audit findings.
  • Maintain thorough audit documentation and translate results into clear written reports and visuals.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to the Church Audit leadership.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Edmond, OK
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree with an auditing focus (preferred).
  • 2 years of auditing experience (preferred).
  • Ability to solve complex problems, make independent decisions, and work collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
