TL;DR

HR Coordinator (Talent Acquisition): Providing administrative and coordination support across recruitment, onboarding, and learning and development with an accent on maintaining accurate records and supporting regional compliance. Focus on ensuring efficient TA operations, managing candidate documentation, and facilitating seamless interview processes.

Location: Must be based in Calgary, Canada (Office-based, 3+ days per week).

What you will do

  • Coordinate recruitment activities and assist with interview scheduling across phone, video, and onsite formats.
  • Conduct candidate video screens, reference checks, and background verifications.
  • Maintain accurate new hire files and ensure integrity of candidate data within HR systems.
  • Support onboarding processes to prepare new colleagues for their first day.
  • Post job openings to various boards and assist with hiring events or ad-hoc administrative tasks.
  • Provide support to the Learning and Development team and assist with functional reporting.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR or talent administrative/coordinator role.
  • Must be based in Calgary and able to work from the office 3+ days per week.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of basic employment standards and HR processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Working toward or eligible for the CPHR designation.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
