What you will do
- Process inbound calls, faxes, and web requests to initiate the authorization process.
- Document demographic and clinical information within the care management system.
- Conduct outbound follow-ups for discharge and updated clinical data.
- Screen inquiries to determine the specific services requiring certification.
- Collaborate with internal clinical staff and external partners to complete reviews.
- Ensure strict adherence to URAC, HIPAA, and internal productivity metrics.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume call centers or customer support environments.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking both Spanish and English.
- Must be based in the United States.
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Strong problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in medical, claims, or collection call centers.
- Medical Terminology Certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
