What you will do

• Shape the technical direction of programs and provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Manage program delivery, including oversight of scope, schedule, and cost management.
• Oversee hiring, performance management, and career development for team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to advocate for technical solutions and communicate architectural tradeoffs.
• Develop technical documentation and presentations to describe systems and design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Redis, Oracle, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with legacy technologies such as MUMPS (VistA), JSP, and Apache Struts.
• 2+ years of experience in mentoring, coaching, and leading technical tasking efforts.
• Authorized to work in the US (Nationwide remote)
