What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Implement and evolve REST APIs following versioning standards and best practices.
• Optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries for performance.
• Build and debug containerized services with Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes.
• Integrate event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
• Manage deliverables end-to-end within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production systems.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and REST API design.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Kafka.
• English: Advanced level (fluent written and verbal communication).
• Location: Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience with OPA (Open Policy Agent) and Keycloak.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
