Cost Controller (Real Estate)

Location: Hybrid (London City Centre)

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

What you will do

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, including cost-related journal entries.
• Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, including salary adjustments, promotions, terminations, and incentive award pools.
• Analyze and report monthly costs on a statutory and functional unit basis, conducting variance analysis to identify cost drivers.
• Collaborate with FP&A to provide commentary for monthly P&L cost reporting and perform balance sheet flux analysis.
• Liaise with the Global Finance Team to resolve financial accounting activities and queries in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), ideally with a background in Big 4 Audit.
• Post-qualified experience in industry, preferably within Investment Management or Real Estate.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP & SOX.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with PeopleSoft, OneStream, and Trintech Cadency.
• Knowledge of PowerBI and Smartsheets.
