What you will do

• Complete a 5-week paid training program to earn certification as a nursing assistant.
• Perform basic nursing care, including monitoring vital signs and blood glucose measurements.
• Assist patients with personal care, bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Report abnormal physical, mental, or emotional changes in patients to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly patient room environment.
• Act as a liaison between patient care units and other hospital departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical ability to regularly lift 10 lbs, frequently lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 40 lbs.
• Strong interest in entering the healthcare field and providing hands-on care.
• Commitment to completing the training program and becoming certified.
• Availability to work night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.
