What you will do

• Translate creative briefs into engaging copy concepts for email, SMS, and in-app messaging.
• Own the strategy and execution of transactional content including checkout flows and account notifications.
• Partner with UX, product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure copy aligns with business goals.
• Edit and proofread content to maintain high quality and brand standards.
• Mentor junior writers and provide creative direction on transactional projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of copywriting experience with a significant focus on UX writing or transactional product copy.
• Proven ability to lead content strategy and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of user experience, conversion optimization, and customer journey design.
• Experience navigating legal, compliance, and accessibility requirements.
• Must be available for the contract duration from June 29 to September 25.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Calgary.
