hirify.global provides an open-source Firebase alternative built on top of Postgres for millions of developers.

What you will do

  • Lead the production adoption of Multigres, defining success metrics and migration paths for customers.
  • Own problem definition, requirements, and success metrics for all Postgres-related capabilities, including the Data API and connection poolers.
  • Prioritize platform reliability, developer experience, and enterprise requirements across five engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify blockers and integrate feedback into scoping and prioritization.
  • Align engineering, design, and leadership on the infrastructure roadmap.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience in developer tools or experience as a founder.
  • Technical proficiency to analyze architecture documents and lead design discussions.
  • Proven track record of shipping products where database behavior (connection limits, query planning) is central to the experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully asynchronous, remote-first environment.
  • Bias toward speed and iterative shipping over exhaustive planning.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the Postgres ecosystem, including extensions and community tooling.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate research and synthesis.
