Location: Hybrid (Rotterdam, Netherlands) - Must be based in the Netherlands and able to work from the Rotterdam office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Support daily operational tasks within the Accounts Payable team.
• Process invoices, manage supplier administration, and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with AP-related month-end closing activities.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements for financial processes.
• Contribute to the optimization and automation of AP workflows.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Available for an internship starting September 2026 (5–6 months) for 32–40 hours per week
• Enrolled at a Dutch university (HBO/WO) studying Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Ability to work from the Rotterdam office at least 3 days per week
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Analytical mindset and proactive attitude

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
