What you will do

• Establish the SRE practice from scratch, including on-call rotations, SLA/SLO definitions, and runbook libraries.
• Lead the AWS multi-account migration of production workloads with zero unplanned downtime.
• Own the technical controls implementation and evidence packaging for SOC 2 Type I audit readiness.
• Version and publish a comprehensive Terraform module library to a private registry.
• Implement automated deployment rollbacks for ECS and Lambda gated by integration tests.
• Establish monthly cost reporting, budget anomaly detection, and spend analysis for leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production AWS infrastructure experience with deep Terraform expertise.
• Proven track record of building and owning an SRE function from the ground up.
• Experience with multi-site environments requiring PaaS or microservices.
• Direct ownership of CI/CD pipelines in previous professional roles.
• Experience implementing PagerDuty and establishing on-call rotations.
• Must be based in the United States.
