What you will do

• Design and implement cloud-native security controls across AWS and GCP using IAM, GuardDuty, and GCP SCC.
• Build and operate "Security as a Service" platforms to enable scalable and reusable security capabilities.
• Develop automation services using Golang and Python to improve the cloud security posture.
• Deploy and optimize EDR/XDR solutions, specifically Trend Micro and CrowdStrike, for endpoint and workload protection.
• Secure containerized workloads and Kubernetes environments, ensuring runtime protection and network controls.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and SDLC processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in cloud security engineering with strong exposure to AWS and/or GCP.
• Proficiency in development and scripting using Golang and Python for security automation.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes and container platforms (runtime security, network policies, image scanning).
• Proven experience with EDR/XDR platforms such as Trend Micro, CrowdStrike, or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Experience with SIEM, log management platforms, and security analytics.
• Professional certifications like AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security governance standards.
