Senior Cloud Security Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement cloud-native security controls across AWS and GCP, including IAM, GuardDuty, AWS Config, and GCP Security Command Center.
• Build and operate reusable Security as a Service platforms and develop security automation services with Golang and Python.
• Deploy and optimize EDR/XDR solutions such as Trend Micro and CrowdStrike for endpoint and workload protection.
• Secure containerized workloads and Kubernetes environments through runtime protection, network controls, and image scanning.
• Configure alerts, investigate incidents, lead response activities, and maintain security policies, standards, and guardrails.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and SDLC processes while collaborating with cloud and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud security engineering with strong AWS and/or GCP exposure.
• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR platforms such as Trend Micro or CrowdStrike and with Kubernetes security and container ecosystems.
• Strong programming and automation skills in Golang and Python.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, APIs, microservices architectures, and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD workflows, secure SDLC practices, Linux systems, networking, and cloud-native architectures.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Experience with SIEM, log management, security analytics, threat hunting, or advanced detection engineering.
• AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
• Awareness of compliance frameworks and security governance standards.
