What you will do

• Manage, maintain, and optimize production Elasticsearch clusters for high-traffic web applications.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and improve search and indexing efficiency.
• Design and implement scalability and reliability improvements for cluster health.
• Maintain and extend a custom Scala-based indexing service.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to modernize the indexing framework.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience scaling Elasticsearch in large-scale production environments.
• Expertise in indexing strategies, shard allocation, and query optimization.
• Professional development experience with Scala.
• Proven experience working with distributed systems or high-throughput platforms.
• Location: Candidates must be based in Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia.
