Senior Software Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (AI): Building and maintaining the shared backend services, data pipelines, and infrastructure that CX product teams depend on with an accent on scale, reliability, performance, and cost. Focus on building and maintaining LLM-powered workflows using LangChain and AWS Bedrock, contributing to production systems and helping establish solid engineering patterns around reliability, observability, and cost.

Location: Team members based near key hubs are expected to work from the office at least three days per week.

What you will do

• Own core platform infrastructure by building and maintaining shared backend services, data pipelines, and infrastructure.
• Design resilient data foundations, working across Elasticsearch, Snowflake, MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
• Contribute to agentic AI features and infrastructure, building and maintaining LLM-powered workflows using LangChain and AWS Bedrock.
• Drive agentic transformation from within, applying agentic tools and workflows to how the team itself operates.
• Support in-house demos and GTM integrations, occasionally joining customer calls or supporting Sales and Implementation teams directly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Product Design, GTM, Sales, Implementation, and Analytics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems (AWS, Kubernetes, queues (Kafka/SQS), and datastores (Elasticsearch, Snowflake, MySQL, Redis)).
• Experience building customer-facing products.
• Strong ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively across team boundaries.
• Deep systems thinking, designing with maintainability, observability, and failure modes in mind.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, or AI infrastructure (LangChain, AWS Bedrock, or similar).
• Experience with React and Next.js or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Knowledge of Python for data or AI workflows.
• Experience presenting technical work to customers or supporting pre-sales / GTM motions.
