What you will do

• Build synchronized, multi-sensor data collection pipelines from teleoperation and autonomous robot runs.
• Design scalable storage, indexing, and versioning for terabyte-scale multi-modal datasets including video, point clouds, IMU, and audio.
• Implement automated quality checks, dataset slicing tools, and curation flows to address model failure modes.
• Develop labeling pipelines and manage integrations with internal tooling and annotation vendors.
• Establish sim-data integration to mix synthetic and real data for training purposes.

Requirements

• Experience with sensor data formats such as rosbag, MCAP, and parquet, and working with multi-modal datasets.
• Proven track record of building data pipelines that scale to large multi-modal training sets.
• Familiarity with ML training workflows and the data requirements of perception and policy models.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with simulation data and ROS or ROS 2.
