What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of core platform capabilities to support multiple products and teams.
• Adopt and integrate AI-assisted development tools and workflows into daily engineering practices.
• Identify and resolve complex challenges across architecture, infrastructure, reliability, and security.
• Drive improvements in SDLC, engineering standards, and development processes.
• Act as a technical leader by mentoring teammates and influencing cross-team alignment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend and platform engineering.
• 5+ years of experience designing and building large-scale backend systems using Java.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures in production.
• Solid experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence without authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python.
• Background in CI/CD, observability, and production operations.
• Experience in security-focused or compliance-heavy environments.
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience supporting SaaS transformation.
