What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end monthly close process, including accruals, prepayments, intercompany, and FX management.
• Own the IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model and analyze loan book repayment behavior by cohort.
• Manage lender reporting and covenant compliance, including drawdown documentation and due diligence.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to interrogate OEM economics and build financial cases for new products.
• Design and implement financial controls, reporting workbooks, and automation opportunities from the ground up.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA(K), ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• Proven track record in senior finance roles with ownership of statutory and management reporting cycles.
• Deep applied knowledge of IFRS, specifically IFRS 9, IFRS 16, IAS 21, and revenue recognition.
• Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel and the ability to communicate conclusions to C-level executives.
• Must be based in Kenya

• Big 4 training (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG).
• Working knowledge of the East African electric mobility sector.
